Persistent world Sci-fi MMO

Developed and self-published by Avatar Creations

Released on November 25th, 2010 on PC

Developed the entire audio engine, most of the game UI, base/app code and client-side gameplay, the website, the backend, designed a large portion the architecture, integrated external SDKs such as Twitch, XFire, and Steam, created REST-API system for external apps, maintained the web server; took care of publishing both independently and later on Steam, performed additional tech support and maintained social media

Developed a new dynamic music system, a sound FX triggering sytem, worked on a variety of gameplay-sound integrations; also worked on development tools, implemented tooling for various technical AI design tasks, as well as general maintenance of in-house tools; developed monitoring system for in-house build processes

Project CARS 3 2019-2020

Racing simulation

Developed by Slightly Mad Studios; published by Bandai Namco Entertainment

Released on August 28, 2020 on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One

Maintained audio and tooling tasks, created the "breakout" gamemode (including tools), created the track guide marker system (including tools), developed a large portion of the frontend UI, developed some of the in-game UI, including custom shader work and tooling for the "corner mastery" minimap system.

Was assigned technical lead duties towards the tail end of the project (in beta); developed frontend menu camera code, performed pre-release branching and oversaw builds, additional work on VR rendering.

Cancelled Project CARS game 2020-2022

Racing simulation

Developed by Slightly Mad Studios; to be published by Electronic Arts

Developed for PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X; cancelled on November 8, 2022

Moved full-time to gameplay programming; maintained and upgraded car customisation system and other gameplay features interfacing with the rendering engine and UI, performance optimisation and memory management, maintained some of the in-house tooling, and implemented some next-gen console features.

Added and maintained DLC/entitlement package support, including some platform set up and package generation, picked up maintenance of the existing cinematics / cutscene system and performed some high- and low-level bugfixing.
